How do I delete my account?

You can delete your Backgammon Galaxy account yourself from inside the app or on the web.

Deleting your account is permanent and can't be undone.

Before you delete

• Cancel any membership subscription first. Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are managed by Apple or Google, so deleting your account doesn't cancel them. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings (or on the web if you subscribed there).
• If you just want a break, you can simply log out instead, or turn off notifications.

What you'll lose

Deleting your account erases everything on it, and it can't be restored. The app warns you before anything is deleted. You'll lose:

• your profile, username, rating and stats
• your coins (they can't be refunded, paid out or moved to another account)
• anything you've unlocked or bought in the app, such as boards and avatars
• your friends list
• your login – you won't be able to sign in to this account again

If you later sign up again with the same email, Google or Apple account, you'll start with a brand-new, empty account.

How to delete your account

1. Open Menu > Settings.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
3. Optionally, tell us why you're leaving under Reason for leaving? – for example "I'm taking a break from backgammon" or "The app has technical issues or bugs". Your feedback helps us improve.
4. Slide the Confirm slider all the way across.
5. Your account is deleted and you're logged out.

If deletion doesn't go through, the slider will show that it failed – please try again, or contact us.

Can I get my account back?

No. Once it's deleted, everything is erased and we can't restore your account, coins, progress or purchases.
