How do I log in or log out?

Logging in

In the app (iPhone/iPad or Android)

1. Open the app. If you're not signed in, you'll see the welcome screen.
2. Use the same method you signed up with:
   • Continue with Google
   • Continue with Apple
   • Log in (for email and password accounts) – a secure sign-in page opens where you enter your email and password.
3. Once signed in, you'll go straight to the lobby.

On the web

Open Backgammon Galaxy in your browser. If you're not signed in, you'll be taken to the sign-in page automatically.

Tip: always use the same sign-in method you used to create your account. Signing in with a different method (for example, Google instead of email) may not take you to the same account.

Staying signed in

After you sign in, the app remembers you on that device, so you don't need to log in every time you open it.

Using more than one device

You can use Backgammon Galaxy on your phone, tablet and web browser. Just sign in with the same method and account on each device. Your profile, rating, coins and purchases belong to your account, not to the device.

Some preferences are saved on each device separately – for example the in-game options such as Sounds or Auto-confirm, and your chosen Language and Theme. You may need to set these again on a new device.

Logging out

1. Open Menu > Settings.
2. Tap the log-out icon in the top-right corner (on larger screens, tap Log Out in the settings list).

You'll be returned to the welcome screen (or the sign-in page on the web).

Note: logging out clears the preferences stored on that device, such as your in-game options, so you may need to set them again after you log back in.
