How do I earn coins?

Coins (shown as GC) are Backgammon Galaxy's in-game currency. You can earn them for free in several ways.

1. Claim your bonus

1. Go to the home screen.
2. When your bonus is ready, tap Claim. The coins are added to your balance right away.
3. After claiming, a Next Bonus countdown shows when you can claim again.

How much you get depends on your membership:

The bonus doesn't build up while you're away. Claim it whenever the countdown finishes.

2. Win coin games

In Single Game and Match Play, you and your opponent each put up a Stake. Win the game or match and you win coins from the pot. A small table fee may be taken from the pot.

3. Win tournament prizes

Some tournaments have a Prize Pool paid in coins. Check the Prizes section on the tournament page before you register.

4. Invite friends

Use Invite Friends to share your invite link. When a friend joins with your link and plays their first match against a real player, you both get bonus coins.

5. Reload when you're running low

When you drop below 100 coins, you will be able to reload 100 coins to continue playing, unlimited. See How do coin reloads and bonuses work?.

6. Buy coins

If you want more right away, you can buy coin packs. See How do I buy coins?.
