RushGammon is quick-fire training. You're shown a position and swipe left or right to pick the better play (Swipe left or right). It's a fast way to sharpen your checker play and cube decisions.
Modes
| Mode | Rules |
|---|---|
| Rush | 3 Minutes. 3 Strikes. Answer as many as you can before time runs out. A wrong answer costs a strike. |
| Survival | 3 Strikes. Infinite Time. There's no clock; keep going until you've made 3 mistakes. |
| PIP Rush | 3 Minutes. 3 Strikes. Guess the Relative PIP Count. The closer you are, the more points you get. Being more than 15 pips out costs a strike. |
Streaks
- Streak counts how many correct answers you've given in a row. It goes back to zero as soon as you get one wrong.
- Highest Streak is your best run in that session.
- Streaks only last for one session. There's no day-to-day streak to keep up.
Your score and the leaderboard
- At the end you'll see your Final Score, Accuracy and Highest Streak. Tap Review to see the answers.
- Your best score goes on the RushGammon Leaderboard, which has Daily, Weekly and all-time boards for each mode.
- The Daily board resets every day at 00:00 UTC. The Weekly board resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC.
- RushGammon doesn't affect your Galaxy rating.
Who can play
RushGammon is a Star Membership feature. If you're on the Free plan, you'll be asked to upgrade.
Troubleshooting
- Oops... out of time! means your 3 minutes are up in Rush or PIP Rush.
- If a session stops loading questions, you'll be returned to the RushGammon menu. Start a new session.
