Friends let you send private messages and keep track of the players you enjoy playing. Open Social from the home screen to see your friends and requests.
Send a friend request
You can add someone in two ways:
- From a game: tap your opponent's avatar, then tap the add friend button on their player card.
- From Social: use Search Players to find them by username, open their profile, and tap the add friend icon.
A Send Friend Request window opens. You can keep the default message ("Let's be friends!") or tick Enter a custom message and write your own. Tap Send.
While you wait for them to accept, their profile shows a pending icon and the message Friend request pending. You can see everything you've sent under Friend Requests → Sent, and withdraw a request from there.
Accept or decline a request
When someone adds you, you'll get a notification: "name sent you a friend request".
- Go to Social → Friend Requests → Received, or
- Open their profile, where you'll see "name sent you a friend request".
Tap the tick to accept or the cross to decline. When a request is accepted, the sender gets a notification that you "accepted your friend request".
Remove a friend
- Go to Social → Friends.
- Open the menu next to the friend.
- Tap Unfriend.
There's no confirmation step, and they won't be told. You'll no longer be able to message each other privately.
Play a game with a friend
- On the home screen, tap Play a Friend.
- Tap Create Game, pick your settings, and tap Create private Game.
- Share the game key with your friend (Share with your friend:).
- Your friend taps Play a Friend → Join Game, then Paste Key.
You don't need to be friends in the app to play a private game. Anyone with the key can join.
